Each painting takes a minimum of three weeks to complete. Many hours of concentration, thought, emotion, design and skillful rendering produce the resultant glowing, living story. FLOWER POWER
Gardening is a passion of mine. I have tended many gardens in the past 30 years, from family first and foremost and then my flower gardens draped in roses, lillies, lavender and thyme. I love all the flowers but the ones that forever haunt me to reproduce in paint are my roses. All those velvety qualities of the petals, the light shining through petals.
Each painting is my emotional response to the flowers, and the different textures and rhythm of the strokes, is my visual dance with the beautiful flowers before me.
