I very interested in exploring the deep symbology our curated icons of envy, carefully programmed into our consciousness by genius advertising. The side figures walking on the street represent various emotions by colour and facial expressions, from envy in green, to discomfort in the odd man on the left, to the pride the woman has in her beautiful Hermés Birkin handbag. Such a bag is only for the few.  The cost makes it unatainable.  This is why the theatre marquee announces Betty walks the Birkin. It's such a big deal for Betty to be seen with her object of envy.

Sold Unframed, Sides painted neutral gray, wired ready to hang, signed front and back by the Artist Bebe Landers, and you receive a signed Certificate of Authenticity for insurance valuation.
