Its 1955 and the world through a little girl's eye is not the same as that of her Mommy and Nanny. They are way up there, out of her sight except for their hands and long coats. She lives in a little girls imagination and her attention wanders to the sidewalk shadows where all kinds of friendly monsters hide.
The little girl turns to look back towards us. Her vibrant crimson coat's deep allure is only surpassed by the fuschia pink baby birkin she carries on her arm.
Jumping to 2019 we all know that little girls don't carry Hermes Birkin bags unless you are North Kardashian, but the little girl in all of us wants the fantasy.
